- 2 (6-ounce) salmon fillets
- 2 tablespoons sweet chili sauce
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon honey
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon fresh ginger, grated
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 2 green onions, sliced (for garnish)
- Lime wedges (for serving)
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly grease it with cooking spray.
- In a small bowl, whisk together the sweet chili sauce, soy sauce, honey, minced garlic, and grated ginger until well combined.
- Place the salmon fillets on the prepared baking sheet, skin-side down. Drizzle the olive oil over the fillets and season with salt and pepper.
- Pour the sweet chili garlic mixture evenly over the salmon fillets, ensuring they are well coated.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes, or until the salmon flakes easily with a fork and is cooked through.
- Remove from the oven and let rest for a couple of minutes. Garnish with sliced green onions and serve with lime wedges on the side.
Notes
- For a spicy kick, add a teaspoon of sriracha or red pepper flakes to the sauce mixture.
- Serve the salmon over a bed of steamed rice or quinoa for a complete meal.
