Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 (6-ounce) salmon fillets
  • 2 tablespoons sweet chili sauce
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon fresh ginger, grated
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 green onions, sliced (for garnish)
  • Lime wedges (for serving)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly grease it with cooking spray.
  2. In a small bowl, whisk together the sweet chili sauce, soy sauce, honey, minced garlic, and grated ginger until well combined.
  3. Place the salmon fillets on the prepared baking sheet, skin-side down. Drizzle the olive oil over the fillets and season with salt and pepper.
  4. Pour the sweet chili garlic mixture evenly over the salmon fillets, ensuring they are well coated.
  5. Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes, or until the salmon flakes easily with a fork and is cooked through.
  6. Remove from the oven and let rest for a couple of minutes. Garnish with sliced green onions and serve with lime wedges on the side.

Notes

  • For a spicy kick, add a teaspoon of sriracha or red pepper flakes to the sauce mixture.
  • Serve the salmon over a bed of steamed rice or quinoa for a complete meal.
