Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon instant yeast
  • 1 teaspoon sugar
  • ¾ teaspoon salt
  • ¾ cup warm water (about 110°F)
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 cup pizza sauce
  • 1 ½ cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • ½ cup sliced pepperoni
  • ½ cup cooked Italian sausage, crumbled
  • ½ cup green bell pepper, diced
  • ½ cup red onion, thinly sliced
  • ½ cup mushrooms, sliced
  • ¼ cup black olives, sliced
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder

Instructions

  1. In a large mixing bowl, combine the flour, instant yeast, sugar, and salt. Stir to mix well.
  2. Add the warm water and olive oil to the dry ingredients. Mix until a dough forms.
  3. Knead the dough on a floured surface for about 5-7 minutes until smooth and elastic.
  4. Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover with a damp cloth, and let it rise in a warm place for about 1 hour, or until doubled in size.
  5. Preheat your oven to 475°F (245°C).
  6. Roll out the risen dough on a floured surface to fit your pizza stone or baking sheet.
  7. Transfer the dough to the pizza stone or baking sheet. Spread the pizza sauce evenly over the crust.
  8. Sprinkle the shredded mozzarella cheese over the sauce.
  9. Evenly distribute the pepperoni, cooked Italian sausage, green bell pepper, red onion, mushrooms, and black olives on top of the cheese.
  10. Sprinkle the dried oregano and garlic powder over the toppings.
  11. Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes, or until the crust is golden brown and the cheese is bubbly.
  12. Remove from the oven and let cool for a few minutes before slicing and serving.

Notes

  • For a spicier kick, add sliced jalapeños or crushed red pepper flakes on top before baking.
  • For a vegetarian version, omit the meats and add more vegetables like spinach or artichokes.
