Spaghetti Tacos: A fun and delicious fusion recipe that combines spaghetti and tacos for a unique meal experience.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 teaspoon olive oil
  • 1 small onion, diced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 cup marinara sauce
  • 8 ounces cooked spaghetti
  • 12 taco shells
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1/2 cup diced tomatoes
  • 1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley (optional)

Instructions

  1. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add diced onion and sauté until translucent, about 3-4 minutes.
  2. Add minced garlic and ground beef to the skillet. Cook until the beef is browned and cooked through, breaking it apart with a spoon, about 5-7 minutes.
  3. Stir in Italian seasoning, salt, and black pepper. Pour in the marinara sauce and let it simmer for about 5 minutes.
  4. In a large bowl, combine the cooked spaghetti with the beef mixture, tossing until well coated.
  5. Preheat the oven to 350°F. Arrange taco shells on a baking sheet and fill each shell with the spaghetti mixture.
  6. Top each filled taco with shredded cheddar cheese. Bake in the oven for 10-12 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
  7. Remove from the oven and let cool for a few minutes. Serve topped with sour cream, diced tomatoes, and parsley if desired.

Notes

  • For a vegetarian option, substitute ground beef with lentils or a meat substitute like Beyond Meat.
  • Add sliced olives or jalapeños for an extra kick of flavor.
