2 cups graham cracker crumbs
1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
1/2 cup granulated sugar
1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
1/4 teaspoon salt
1 cup mini marshmallows
1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
1/2 cup milk chocolate bar, chopped into small pieces
Instructions
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish or line it with parchment paper for easy removal.
In a large mixing bowl, combine the graham cracker crumbs, cocoa powder, sugar, melted butter, and salt. Mix until the mixture resembles wet sand.
Press the crumb mixture evenly into the bottom of the prepared baking dish to form the crust. Bake in the preheated oven for 10 minutes.
Remove the crust from the oven and sprinkle the mini marshmallows and chocolate chips evenly over the top. Add the chopped milk chocolate bar pieces for extra chocolatey goodness.
Return the baking dish to the oven and bake for an additional 5-7 minutes, or until the marshmallows are golden and the chocolate is melted.
Allow the s’mores bar to cool in the pan for at least 15 minutes before cutting into squares. For cleaner cuts, refrigerate for an additional 30 minutes.
Notes
For a twist, try adding crushed peppermint candies for a seasonal flavor.
Use dark chocolate chips instead of semi-sweet for a richer taste.
Substitute almond flour for graham cracker crumbs for a gluten-free version.
