- 2 pounds bone-in pork chops
- 1 cup soy sauce
- 1/2 cup honey
- 1/4 cup rice vinegar
- 1 tablespoon sesame oil
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon fresh ginger, grated
- 1 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)
- 1/4 cup green onions, chopped (for garnish)
- 1 tablespoon sesame seeds (for garnish)
- In a bowl, whisk together the soy sauce, honey, rice vinegar, sesame oil, garlic, ginger, and red pepper flakes until well combined.
- Place the pork chops in the slow cooker and pour the sauce mixture over them, ensuring they are well coated.
- Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours or on high for 3-4 hours, until the pork chops are tender and fully cooked.
- Once cooked, remove the pork chops from the slow cooker and let them rest for a few minutes.
- If desired, you can thicken the sauce by transferring it to a saucepan and simmering it over medium heat for 10-15 minutes until it reduces.
- Serve the pork chops drizzled with the sauce, and garnish with chopped green onions and sesame seeds.
Notes
- For a spicier kick, add more red pepper flakes or a splash of sriracha to the sauce.
- To make it a complete meal, serve the pork chops over steamed rice or quinoa, and add a side of stir-fried vegetables.
