- 1 pound ground beef (or ground turkey)
- 1 cup breadcrumbs
- 1 large egg
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 cup barbecue sauce
- 1 cup crushed pineapple, drained
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)
- In a large bowl, combine ground beef, breadcrumbs, egg, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper. Mix until well combined.
- Form the mixture into meatballs, about 1 inch in diameter, and place them in the slow cooker.
- In a separate bowl, mix together barbecue sauce, crushed pineapple, soy sauce, Worcestershire sauce, and red pepper flakes (if using).
- Pour the pineapple BBQ sauce over the meatballs in the slow cooker, ensuring they are well coated.
