Ingredients
Scale
8 ounces udon noodles
1 pound beef sirloin, thinly sliced
2 tablespoons vegetable oil
1 medium onion, sliced
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 bell pepper, sliced
2 cups broccoli florets
3 tablespoons soy sauce
1 tablespoon oyster sauce
1 tablespoon black pepper
1 teaspoon sugar
2 green onions, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions
Cook the udon noodles according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
In a large skillet or wok, heat the vegetable oil over medium-high heat. Add the sliced beef and stir-fry for 2-3 minutes until browned. Remove the beef from the skillet and set aside.
In the same skillet, add the onion and garlic. Sauté for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
Add the bell pepper and broccoli to the skillet. Stir-fry for another 3-4 minutes until the vegetables are tender-crisp.
Return the beef to the skillet. Add the cooked udon noodles, soy sauce, oyster sauce, black pepper, and sugar. Toss everything together and cook for an additional 2-3 minutes until heated through.
Serve hot, garnished with chopped green onions.
Notes
For a spicier kick, add a teaspoon of crushed red pepper flakes during cooking.
Substitute the beef with chicken or tofu for a different protein option.
