Ingredients

Scale
  • 8 ounces udon noodles
  • 1 pound beef sirloin, thinly sliced
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 1 medium onion, sliced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 bell pepper, sliced
  • 2 cups broccoli florets
  • 3 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon oyster sauce
  • 1 tablespoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon sugar
  • 2 green onions, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Cook the udon noodles according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  2. In a large skillet or wok, heat the vegetable oil over medium-high heat. Add the sliced beef and stir-fry for 2-3 minutes until browned. Remove the beef from the skillet and set aside.
  3. In the same skillet, add the onion and garlic. Sauté for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
  4. Add the bell pepper and broccoli to the skillet. Stir-fry for another 3-4 minutes until the vegetables are tender-crisp.
  5. Return the beef to the skillet. Add the cooked udon noodles, soy sauce, oyster sauce, black pepper, and sugar. Toss everything together and cook for an additional 2-3 minutes until heated through.
  6. Serve hot, garnished with chopped green onions.

Notes

  • For a spicier kick, add a teaspoon of crushed red pepper flakes during cooking.
  • Substitute the beef with chicken or tofu for a different protein option.
