A delightful seafood lasagna recipe featuring shrimp and crab, perfect for seafood lovers.

Ingredients

  • 1 pound shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 1 pound crab meat, cooked
  • 9 lasagna noodles
  • 2 cups ricotta cheese
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 cups marinara sauce
  • 1/2 cup chopped fresh parsley
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon dried basil
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Cook the lasagna noodles according to package instructions; drain and set aside.
  3. In a mixing bowl, combine shrimp, crab meat, ricotta cheese, garlic, parsley, basil, salt, and pepper.
  4. Spread a layer of marinara sauce on the bottom of a baking dish.
  5. Layer 3 lasagna noodles over the sauce, followed by half of the seafood mixture, a layer of mozzarella, and a layer of marinara sauce.
  6. Repeat the layers, finishing with the remaining noodles, marinara sauce, and top with mozzarella and Parmesan cheese.
  7. Cover with foil and bake for 25 minutes, then remove the foil and bake for an additional 15 minutes until the cheese is bubbly and golden.
  8. Let it cool for 10 minutes before serving.

Notes

  • For a richer flavor, add a splash of white wine to the seafood mixture.
  • Feel free to add other seafood like scallops or lobster for variety.
