Ingredients
Scale
1 pound Italian sausage, casings removed
2 cups ricotta cheese
1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
2 cups Alfredo sauce
1 package (9 ounces) refrigerated cheese ravioli
1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
Salt and pepper to taste
Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions
Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
In a large skillet over medium heat, cook the Italian sausage until browned and fully cooked, breaking it apart with a spoon as it cooks. Drain excess fat if necessary.
In a mixing bowl, combine the ricotta cheese, half of the Parmesan cheese, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Mix well.
Spread a thin layer of Alfredo sauce on the bottom of a 9×13 inch baking dish.
Layer half of the ravioli over the Alfredo sauce, followed by half of the ricotta mixture, half of the cooked sausage, and half of the mozzarella cheese.
Repeat the layers with the remaining ravioli, ricotta mixture, sausage, and top with the remaining Alfredo sauce.
Sprinkle the remaining mozzarella and Parmesan cheese on top.
Cover the dish with aluminum foil and bake for 25 minutes.
Remove the foil and bake for an additional 15 minutes, or until the cheese is bubbly and golden brown.
Let the lasagna cool for 10 minutes before slicing. Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
Notes
For a lighter version, substitute turkey sausage and use low-fat cheeses.
Add sautéed vegetables like spinach or mushrooms between the layers for extra flavor and nutrition.
