- 12 slider buns
- 1 pound roast beef, thinly sliced
- 8 ounces cheddar cheese, sliced
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
- 1 tablespoon garlic powder
- 1 tablespoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon poppy seeds (optional)
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a small bowl, mix the melted butter, Worcestershire sauce, Dijon mustard, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper until well combined.
- Place the bottom halves of the slider buns in a greased 9×13 inch baking dish.
- Layer the roast beef evenly over the buns, followed by the cheddar cheese slices.
- Place the top halves of the buns on top of the cheese.
- Brush the butter mixture generously over the top of the slider buns. If using, sprinkle poppy seeds on top.
- Cover the baking dish with aluminum foil and bake for 15 minutes.
- Remove the foil and bake for an additional 10 minutes, or until the tops are golden brown and the cheese is melted.
- Let cool for a few minutes before slicing and serving.
Notes
- For a spicy kick, add sliced jalapeños or a drizzle of hot sauce before baking.
- Substitute turkey or ham for the roast beef for a different flavor profile.
