Delicious roast beef and cheddar sliders perfect for gatherings.

Ingredients

  • 12 slider buns
  • 1 pound roast beef, thinly sliced
  • 8 ounces cheddar cheese, sliced
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
  • 1 tablespoon garlic powder
  • 1 tablespoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon poppy seeds (optional)
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a small bowl, mix the melted butter, Worcestershire sauce, Dijon mustard, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper until well combined.
  3. Place the bottom halves of the slider buns in a greased 9×13 inch baking dish.
  4. Layer the roast beef evenly over the buns, followed by the cheddar cheese slices.
  5. Place the top halves of the buns on top of the cheese.
  6. Brush the butter mixture generously over the top of the slider buns. If using, sprinkle poppy seeds on top.
  7. Cover the baking dish with aluminum foil and bake for 15 minutes.
  8. Remove the foil and bake for an additional 10 minutes, or until the tops are golden brown and the cheese is melted.
  9. Let cool for a few minutes before slicing and serving.

Notes

  • For a spicy kick, add sliced jalapeños or a drizzle of hot sauce before baking.
  • Substitute turkey or ham for the roast beef for a different flavor profile.
