A delightful dessert featuring layers of creamy whipped cream, fresh berries, and profiteroles, perfect for any occasion.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups heavy whipping cream
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup fresh strawberries, hulled and sliced
  • 1 cup fresh raspberries
  • 1 cup fresh blueberries
  • 1 package (10 oz) frozen profiteroles, thawed
  • 1/4 cup chocolate sauce (for drizzling)
  • Fresh mint leaves (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. In a large mixing bowl, whip the heavy cream, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract until soft peaks form. Be careful not to overwhip.
  2. In a separate bowl, combine the sliced strawberries, raspberries, and blueberries. Gently toss to mix.
  3. In a trifle dish or a large glass bowl, layer half of the thawed profiteroles at the bottom.
  4. Spoon half of the whipped cream over the profiteroles, spreading it evenly.
  5. Add half of the mixed berries on top of the whipped cream.
  6. Repeat the layers with the remaining profiteroles, whipped cream, and mixed berries.
  7. Drizzle the chocolate sauce over the top layer of whipped cream.
  8. Chill the trifle in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour before serving to allow the flavors to meld.
  9. Garnish with fresh mint leaves just before serving.

Notes

  • For a lighter version, substitute half of the heavy cream with Greek yogurt.
  • Try adding a splash of liqueur, such as raspberry or chocolate, to the whipped cream for an adult twist.
