A delicious and savory pork tenderloin recipe that is easy to prepare and perfect for any occasion.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 pounds pork tenderloin
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 2 tablespoons apple cider vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch mixed with 2 tablespoons water (for thickening)
  • Chopped fresh parsley for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Pat the pork tenderloin dry with paper towels. Rub the olive oil, salt, black pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, and smoked paprika all over the pork.
  3. In a large oven-safe skillet, heat the skillet over medium-high heat. Sear the pork tenderloin on all sides until browned, about 2-3 minutes per side.
  4. In a bowl, whisk together the chicken broth, soy sauce, honey, apple cider vinegar, and Dijon mustard. Pour the mixture over the seared pork in the skillet.
  5. Transfer the skillet to the preheated oven and roast for 20-25 minutes, or until the internal temperature of the pork reaches 145°F (63°C).
  6. Remove the skillet from the oven and transfer the pork to a cutting board. Cover with foil and let it rest for 5-10 minutes.
  7. Meanwhile, place the skillet with the sauce over medium heat. Stir in the cornstarch mixture and cook until the sauce thickens, about 2-3 minutes.
  8. Slice the pork tenderloin and serve with the sauce drizzled over the top. Garnish with chopped parsley if desired.

Notes

  • For added flavor, marinate the pork in the sauce for 1-2 hours before cooking.
  • Serve with steamed vegetables or over rice for a complete meal.
  • You can also substitute the pork with chicken breast for a different protein option.
