Ingredients
Scale
8 ounces elbow macaroni
2 cups shredded sharp cheddar cheese
1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
1 cup milk
1/2 cup sour cream
1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon onion powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
1 cup sliced pepperoni
1/2 cup marinara sauce
1/2 teaspoon Italian seasoning
1/2 cup breadcrumbs
2 tablespoons olive oil
Instructions
Preheat your oven to 350°F.
Cook the elbow macaroni according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
In a large mixing bowl, combine the cooked macaroni, sharp cheddar cheese, mozzarella cheese, milk, sour cream, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, black pepper, and half of the sliced pepperoni. Mix until well combined.
Spread the macaroni and cheese mixture into a greased 9×13-inch baking dish.
Drizzle the marinara sauce over the top of the macaroni and cheese mixture, then sprinkle the remaining pepperoni on top.
In a small bowl, mix the breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, Italian seasoning, and olive oil until the breadcrumbs are coated. Sprinkle this mixture evenly over the top of the dish.
Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and the cheese is bubbly.
Allow to cool for 5 minutes before serving.
Notes
For a spicier kick, add sliced jalapeños or crushed red pepper flakes to the macaroni mixture.
Substitute turkey pepperoni or a plant-based pepperoni for a lighter or vegetarian option.
