A delicious twist on traditional pizza, these Pepperoni Cheese Pizza Quesadillas are easy to make and perfect for a quick meal or snack.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 large flour tortillas
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 cup sliced pepperoni
  • 1/2 cup pizza sauce
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • Cooking spray or 2 tablespoons olive oil

Instructions

  1. Heat a large skillet over medium heat and lightly coat with cooking spray or olive oil.
  2. Place one tortilla in the skillet and sprinkle half of the mozzarella cheese evenly over the tortilla.
  3. Layer half of the pepperoni slices on top of the cheese, then drizzle with 2 tablespoons of pizza sauce and sprinkle with half of the Parmesan cheese and Italian seasoning.
  4. Top with another tortilla and cook for about 3-4 minutes, or until the bottom tortilla is golden brown and the cheese begins to melt.
  5. Carefully flip the quesadilla using a large spatula and cook for an additional 3-4 minutes, until the second side is golden brown and the cheese is fully melted.
  6. Remove from the skillet and let it cool for a minute before cutting into wedges. Repeat the process with the remaining ingredients to make a second quesadilla.
  7. Serve warm with additional pizza sauce for dipping.

Notes

  • For a veggie twist, add sliced bell peppers, onions, or mushrooms along with the pepperoni.
  • Try using different types of cheese, such as cheddar or pepper jack, for a unique flavor.
