- 1 pound ground beef
- 4 slices of bacon
- 4 hamburger buns
- 1/2 cup creamy peanut butter
- 1 ripe banana, sliced
- 1 tablespoon honey
- 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Lettuce leaves (optional)
- Sliced pickles (optional)
- Preheat your grill or stovetop skillet over medium-high heat.
- In a bowl, season the ground beef with salt and pepper. Form into 4 equal patties.
- Cook the bacon in a skillet until crispy. Remove and drain on paper towels.
- In the same skillet, cook the burger patties for about 4-5 minutes on each side, or until they reach your desired doneness.
- While the burgers are cooking, mix the honey and cinnamon into the peanut butter until well combined.
- Toast the hamburger buns on the grill or in a toaster until golden brown.
- Assemble the burgers by spreading a generous amount of the peanut butter mixture on the bottom half of each bun.
- Place the cooked burger patty on top, followed by the crispy bacon and banana slices.
- Add lettuce and pickles if desired, then top with the other half of the bun.
- Serve immediately and enjoy!
Notes
- For a spicy kick, add a drizzle of sriracha or hot sauce to the peanut butter mixture.
- Swap the bacon for turkey bacon or omit it entirely for a lighter version.
