A unique and flavorful burger combining the sweetness of peanut butter and banana with the savory taste of bacon.

Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 4 slices of bacon
  • 4 hamburger buns
  • 1/2 cup creamy peanut butter
  • 1 ripe banana, sliced
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Lettuce leaves (optional)
  • Sliced pickles (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your grill or stovetop skillet over medium-high heat.
  2. In a bowl, season the ground beef with salt and pepper. Form into 4 equal patties.
  3. Cook the bacon in a skillet until crispy. Remove and drain on paper towels.
  4. In the same skillet, cook the burger patties for about 4-5 minutes on each side, or until they reach your desired doneness.
  5. While the burgers are cooking, mix the honey and cinnamon into the peanut butter until well combined.
  6. Toast the hamburger buns on the grill or in a toaster until golden brown.
  7. Assemble the burgers by spreading a generous amount of the peanut butter mixture on the bottom half of each bun.
  8. Place the cooked burger patty on top, followed by the crispy bacon and banana slices.
  9. Add lettuce and pickles if desired, then top with the other half of the bun.
  10. Serve immediately and enjoy!

Notes

  • For a spicy kick, add a drizzle of sriracha or hot sauce to the peanut butter mixture.
  • Swap the bacon for turkey bacon or omit it entirely for a lighter version.
