- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon salt
- ½ teaspoon black pepper
- ½ cup milk
- 8 ounces mozzarella cheese, cut into small cubes
- 6 slices bacon, cooked and chopped
- ½ cup ketchup
- 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped (optional)
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground beef, breadcrumbs, egg, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, black pepper, and milk. Mix until well combined.
- Gently fold in the chopped bacon and mozzarella cheese until evenly distributed.
- On a baking sheet lined with parchment paper, form the meat mixture into a loaf shape, making a well in the center.
- Fill the well with additional mozzarella cheese if desired, then carefully fold the meat over to seal it.
- Spread the ketchup and Worcestershire sauce evenly over the top of the meatloaf.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 1 hour, or until the internal temperature reaches 160°F (70°C).
- Let the meatloaf rest for 10 minutes before slicing. Garnish with fresh parsley if using.
Notes
- For a spicier kick, add 1 teaspoon of crushed red pepper flakes to the meat mixture.
- Substitute ground turkey or chicken for a lighter version, adjusting the cooking time as needed.
