Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 (6-ounce) salmon fillets
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
  • Lemon wedges (for serving)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper for easy cleanup.
  2. In a small bowl, mix together the olive oil, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper.
  3. Place the salmon fillets skin-side down on the prepared baking sheet. Brush the olive oil mixture generously over the top of each fillet.
  4. In another small bowl, whisk together the Dijon mustard, honey, and lemon juice. Drizzle this mixture over the salmon fillets.
  5. Bake the salmon in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes, or until the salmon flakes easily with a fork and is cooked to your desired doneness.
  6. Remove from the oven and let rest for a couple of minutes. Garnish with chopped parsley and serve with lemon wedges on the side.

Notes

  • For a spicy kick, add a pinch of cayenne pepper to the olive oil mixture.
  • Serve the salmon over a bed of quinoa or alongside steamed vegetables for a complete meal.
