2 pounds boneless, skinless chicken breasts
1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
1/2 cup breadcrumbs
1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
4 cloves garlic, minced
1 teaspoon dried Italian seasoning
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)
2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and lightly grease a baking dish.
In a large bowl, combine the grated Parmesan cheese, breadcrumbs, Italian seasoning, salt, black pepper, and red pepper flakes. Mix well.
In another bowl, combine the melted butter and minced garlic.
Dip each chicken breast into the garlic butter mixture, ensuring it’s well coated.
Roll the coated chicken breasts in the breadcrumb mixture, pressing gently to adhere the crumbs.
Place the coated chicken breasts in the prepared baking dish.
Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through and the coating is golden brown.
Garnish with chopped parsley before serving.
Notes
For extra flavor, marinate the chicken in the garlic butter mixture for 30 minutes before coating.
Substitute the breadcrumbs with crushed cornflakes or panko for a crunchier texture.
