Ingredients
Scale
2 pounds any kind of meat tenderloin
1 tablespoon olive oil
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
1/2 teaspoon paprika
1/2 cup honey
1/4 cup soy sauce
4 cloves garlic, minced
1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar
1 teaspoon ground ginger
1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)
Chopped green onions for garnish
Instructions
Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
Pat the pork tenderloin dry with paper towels and season it with salt, black pepper, and paprika.
In a large oven-safe skillet, heat the olive oil over medium-high heat. Add the pork tenderloin and sear on all sides until browned, about 3-4 minutes per side.
In a small bowl, whisk together honey, soy sauce, minced garlic, apple cider vinegar, ground ginger, and red pepper flakes.
Pour the honey garlic sauce over the seared pork tenderloin in the skillet.
Transfer the skillet to the preheated oven and roast for 20-25 minutes, or until the internal temperature of the pork reaches 145°F (63°C).
Remove the skillet from the oven and let the pork rest for 5-10 minutes before slicing.
Drizzle any remaining sauce from the skillet over the sliced pork and garnish with chopped green onions.
Notes
For a sweeter sauce, increase the honey to 3/4 cup.
For a spicy kick, add more red pepper flakes or a dash of sriracha to the sauce.
