1 loaf of Italian bread (about 12 ounces)
1 cup pizza sauce
1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
1/2 cup cooked and crumbled Italian sausage
1/2 cup diced pepperoni
1/2 cup diced cooked bacon
1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1 tablespoon olive oil
Fresh basil leaves for garnish (optional)
Instructions
Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
Slice the Italian bread in half lengthwise and place it on a baking sheet, cut side up.
Brush the cut sides of the bread with olive oil.
Spread the pizza sauce evenly over the bread halves.
Sprinkle the mozzarella cheese over the sauce.
Evenly distribute the cooked sausage, pepperoni, and bacon on top of the cheese.
Sprinkle the Parmesan cheese, Italian seasoning, and garlic powder over the meat and cheese.
Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
Remove from the oven and let it cool for a few minutes. Slice into pieces and garnish with fresh basil leaves if desired.
Notes
For a spicier kick, add sliced jalapeños or crushed red pepper flakes on top before baking.
