Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 salmon fillets (6 ounces each)
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1 teaspoon dried thyme
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 lemon, zested and juiced
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped
  • 1/4 cup heavy cream
  • 1/4 cup chicken broth
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F.
  2. In a small bowl, mix together the olive oil, garlic, oregano, thyme, paprika, salt, pepper, lemon zest, and lemon juice.
  3. Place the salmon fillets in a baking dish and pour the marinade over them, ensuring they are well coated. Let them marinate for about 15 minutes.
  4. In a skillet over medium heat, combine the heavy cream, chicken broth, and Dijon mustard. Stir until well combined and simmer for about 3-4 minutes until slightly thickened.
  5. Transfer the marinated salmon to the oven and bake for 12-15 minutes, or until the salmon flakes easily with a fork.
  6. Once the salmon is done, drizzle the cream sauce over the top and garnish with fresh parsley.
  7. Serve immediately with your favorite side dishes.

Notes

  • For a spicier kick, add a pinch of red pepper flakes to the marinade.
  • Try substituting the salmon with chicken breasts for a different protein option.
