Ingredients
Scale
2 salmon fillets (6 ounces each)
2 tablespoons olive oil
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 teaspoon dried oregano
1 teaspoon dried thyme
1 teaspoon paprika
Salt and pepper to taste
1 lemon, zested and juiced
2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped
1/4 cup heavy cream
1/4 cup chicken broth
1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
Instructions
Preheat your oven to 400°F.
In a small bowl, mix together the olive oil, garlic, oregano, thyme, paprika, salt, pepper, lemon zest, and lemon juice.
Place the salmon fillets in a baking dish and pour the marinade over them, ensuring they are well coated. Let them marinate for about 15 minutes.
In a skillet over medium heat, combine the heavy cream, chicken broth, and Dijon mustard. Stir until well combined and simmer for about 3-4 minutes until slightly thickened.
Transfer the marinated salmon to the oven and bake for 12-15 minutes, or until the salmon flakes easily with a fork.
Once the salmon is done, drizzle the cream sauce over the top and garnish with fresh parsley.
Serve immediately with your favorite side dishes.
Notes
For a spicier kick, add a pinch of red pepper flakes to the marinade.
Try substituting the salmon with chicken breasts for a different protein option.
