- 2 (6-ounce) salmon fillets
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
- 1 tablespoon honey
- 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
- 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped
- Preheat your oven to 400°F.
- Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly grease it.
- In a small bowl, mix together the olive oil, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper.
- Rub the spice mixture evenly over both sides of the salmon fillets.
- In another bowl, whisk together the Dijon mustard, honey, and lemon juice until well combined.
- Place the seasoned salmon fillets on the prepared baking sheet and brush the mustard mixture generously over the top of each fillet.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes, or until the salmon flakes easily with a fork and reaches an internal temperature of 145°F.
- Remove from the oven and sprinkle with fresh parsley before serving.
Notes
- For a crispy finish, broil the salmon for an additional 2-3 minutes after baking.
- Try substituting maple syrup for honey for a different flavor profile.
