Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 (6-ounce) salmon fillets
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F.
  2. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly grease it.
  3. In a small bowl, mix together the olive oil, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper.
  4. Rub the spice mixture evenly over both sides of the salmon fillets.
  5. In another bowl, whisk together the Dijon mustard, honey, and lemon juice until well combined.
  6. Place the seasoned salmon fillets on the prepared baking sheet and brush the mustard mixture generously over the top of each fillet.
  7. Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes, or until the salmon flakes easily with a fork and reaches an internal temperature of 145°F.
  8. Remove from the oven and sprinkle with fresh parsley before serving.

Notes

  • For a crispy finish, broil the salmon for an additional 2-3 minutes after baking.
  • Try substituting maple syrup for honey for a different flavor profile.
