Ingredients
Scale
1 cup lump crab meat, drained and picked over for shells
1/2 cup cream cheese, softened
1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
1/4 cup mayonnaise
1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
1 tablespoon lemon juice
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1/2 teaspoon onion powder
Salt and pepper to taste
4 large lettuce leaves (such as romaine or butter lettuce)
1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley (optional, for garnish)
Instructions
In a mixing bowl, combine the lump crab meat, cream cheese, shredded cheddar cheese, mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, lemon juice, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Mix well until all ingredients are fully incorporated.
Lay out the large lettuce leaves on a clean surface.
Spoon an equal amount of the crab mixture onto each lettuce leaf, spreading it evenly.
If desired, sprinkle chopped fresh parsley over the crab mixture for added flavor and presentation.
Carefully roll the lettuce leaves around the filling to create wraps. Serve immediately or chill in the refrigerator for about 15 minutes before serving for a cooler taste.
Notes
For a spicier kick, add a teaspoon of hot sauce or a pinch of cayenne pepper to the crab mixture.
Substitute the crab meat with cooked shrimp or chicken for a different flavor profile.
