Keto Philly Cheesesteak Roll Ups are a delicious low-carb alternative to traditional cheesesteaks, wrapped in fresh lettuce leaves.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pound thinly sliced ribeye steak
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 medium onion, thinly sliced
  • 1 medium green bell pepper, thinly sliced
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup shredded provolone cheese
  • 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped (optional)
  • 4 large lettuce leaves (romaine or iceberg)

Instructions

  1. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
  2. Add the sliced onion and green bell pepper, sautéing until they are softened, about 5-7 minutes. Season with garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Remove from skillet and set aside.
  3. In the same skillet, add the ribeye steak and cook until browned and cooked through, about 3-5 minutes. Stir in the Worcestershire sauce and mix well.
  4. In a bowl, combine the softened cream cheese and shredded provolone cheese. Mix until smooth.
  5. To assemble, lay a lettuce leaf flat and spread a layer of the cream cheese mixture over it. Top with a portion of the cooked steak and sautéed vegetables. Roll the lettuce tightly around the filling and secure with a toothpick if needed.
  6. Repeat with the remaining ingredients. Serve immediately, or chill for 30 minutes for a refreshing option.

Notes

  • For a spicier kick, add sliced jalapeños to the filling.
  • You can also substitute the ribeye with chicken or turkey for a different flavor profile.
