Ingredients
Scale
1 pound ground chicken
1 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese
1/4 cup ranch dressing
1/4 cup breadcrumbs
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon onion powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
1 tablespoon olive oil
4 hamburger buns
Lettuce, tomato, and pickles for topping
Instructions
In a large bowl, combine the ground chicken, shredded cheddar cheese, ranch dressing, breadcrumbs, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper. Mix until just combined, being careful not to overmix.
Divide the mixture into four equal portions and shape each portion into a patty about 1/2 inch thick.
Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Once hot, add the chicken patties to the skillet. Cook for about 5-6 minutes on each side, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F and the patties are golden brown.
While the patties are cooking, toast the hamburger buns in a separate skillet or under the broiler until lightly golden.
Assemble the burgers by placing a chicken patty on each bun and topping with lettuce, tomato, and pickles. Serve immediately.
Notes
For a spicier kick, add diced jalapeños or a dash of hot sauce to the chicken mixture.
Substitute the ranch dressing with blue cheese dressing for a different flavor profile.
