Juicy Apple Butter Pork Chops are a flavorful delight, combining the sweetness of apple butter with savory pork chops for a delicious meal.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 bone-in pork chops (about 1 inch thick)
  • 1/2 cup apple butter
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a small bowl, mix together the apple butter, Dijon mustard, apple cider vinegar, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, pepper, and cinnamon until well combined.
  3. Heat the olive oil in a large oven-safe skillet over medium-high heat. Once hot, add the pork chops and sear for about 3-4 minutes on each side until they are golden brown.
  4. Remove the skillet from heat and brush the apple butter mixture generously over the top of each pork chop.
  5. Transfer the skillet to the preheated oven and bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the internal temperature of the pork chops reaches 145°F (63°C).
  6. Remove from the oven and let the pork chops rest for 5 minutes before serving. Garnish with chopped parsley.

Notes

  • For a sweeter glaze, add a tablespoon of brown sugar to the apple butter mixture.
  • Serve with roasted vegetables or mashed potatoes for a complete meal.
