A delicious and easy recipe for Honey Garlic Salmon that elevates your dinner with sweet and savory flavors.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 (6-ounce) salmon fillets
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon lemon juice
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Chopped green onions for garnish

Instructions

  1. In a small bowl, whisk together honey, soy sauce, minced garlic, olive oil, lemon juice, salt, and pepper until well combined.
  2. Place the salmon fillets in a shallow dish and pour the honey garlic marinade over them. Let them marinate for at least 30 minutes in the refrigerator.
  3. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  4. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly grease it.
  5. Remove the salmon from the marinade and place it on the prepared baking sheet. Reserve the marinade for later.
  6. Bake the salmon in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes, or until it flakes easily with a fork.
  7. While the salmon is baking, pour the reserved marinade into a small saucepan and bring it to a boil over medium heat. Reduce the heat and let it simmer for about 5 minutes until slightly thickened.
  8. Once the salmon is done, drizzle the thickened marinade over the top and garnish with chopped green onions before serving.

Notes

  • For a spicy kick, add a teaspoon of red pepper flakes to the marinade.
  • For a different flavor profile, substitute maple syrup for honey for a unique twist.
