Ingredients
Scale
2 cups mixed seafood (shrimp, scallops, and crab meat, thawed if frozen)
1 cup heavy cream
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
1 cup frozen peas and carrots
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon onion powder
1 teaspoon Old Bay seasoning
Salt and pepper to taste
1 can (16.3 ounces) refrigerated biscuit dough
1 tablespoon melted butter
1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley (optional for garnish)
Instructions
Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
In a large mixing bowl, combine the mixed seafood, heavy cream, shredded cheddar cheese, frozen peas and carrots, garlic powder, onion powder, Old Bay seasoning, salt, and pepper. Stir until well combined.
Pour the seafood mixture into a greased 9×13-inch baking dish, spreading it evenly.
Open the can of biscuit dough and separate the biscuits. Cut each biscuit into quarters and arrange them evenly over the seafood mixture.
Brush the tops of the biscuit pieces with melted butter for a golden finish.
Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the biscuits are golden brown and the seafood mixture is bubbly.
Remove from the oven and let cool for a few minutes. Garnish with chopped parsley if desired before serving.
Notes
For a spicier kick, add a dash of hot sauce or cayenne pepper to the seafood mixture.
Substitute the mixed seafood with your favorite fish or use canned tuna for a budget-friendly option.
