Ingredients
Scale
1 pound ground beef
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon onion powder
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
1 can (16 oz) refrigerated biscuit dough
1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
2 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
1 teaspoon dried parsley (optional)
Instructions
Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
In a large bowl, combine the ground beef, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper. Mix until well combined.
Form the beef mixture into small patties, about 1 ounce each. You should have around 12 patties.
In the center of each biscuit, place a beef patty and a tablespoon of shredded cheddar cheese. Fold the edges of the biscuit over the filling and pinch to seal tightly.
Place the sealed biscuit bombs seam-side down on the prepared baking sheet.
In a small bowl, mix the melted butter with the grated Parmesan cheese and dried parsley, if using. Brush the mixture over the tops of the biscuit bombs.
Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes, or until the biscuits are golden brown and the beef is cooked through.
Allow to cool for a few minutes before serving.
Notes
For a spicy kick, add diced jalapeños or a few dashes of hot sauce to the beef mixture.
Substitute the ground beef with ground turkey or chicken for a lighter option.
