Ingredients
Scale
1 pound ground beef
1 cup cooked bacon, chopped
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
1/2 cup breadcrumbs
1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 large egg
1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
1 teaspoon onion powder
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
Vegetable oil for frying
Instructions
In a large bowl, combine the ground beef, chopped bacon, cheddar cheese, Parmesan cheese, breadcrumbs, parsley, minced garlic, egg, Worcestershire sauce, onion powder, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper. Mix until well combined.
Shape the mixture into small patties or fritters, about 2 inches in diameter.
Heat about 1 inch of vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Once the oil is hot, carefully add the fritters in batches, making sure not to overcrowd the pan. Fry for about 3-4 minutes on each side or until golden brown and cooked through.
Use a slotted spoon to remove the fritters from the oil and place them on a paper towel-lined plate to drain excess oil.
Serve warm with your favorite dipping sauce or enjoy them on their own.
Notes
For a spicier kick, add some chopped jalapeños or a dash of hot sauce to the mixture.
Try using different types of cheese, such as pepper jack or mozzarella, for a unique flavor twist.
