Ingredients
Scale
8 ounces cheese tortellini
1 tablespoon olive oil
1/2 pound ground beef
1/2 pound Italian sausage, casings removed
4 cloves garlic, minced
1 cup fresh spinach, chopped
1 cup heavy cream
1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
Salt and pepper to taste
2 tablespoons butter
Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions
Cook the tortellini according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the ground beef and Italian sausage. Cook until browned, breaking it apart with a spoon, about 5-7 minutes. Drain excess fat if necessary.
Add the minced garlic to the skillet and sauté for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
Stir in the chopped spinach and cook for another 2-3 minutes until wilted.
Pour in the heavy cream and stir to combine. Bring to a gentle simmer.
Add the cooked tortellini to the skillet, along with the Parmesan cheese, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Stir until everything is well coated and heated through.
Remove from heat and stir in the butter until melted and creamy.
Serve immediately, garnished with fresh parsley.
Notes
For a lighter version, substitute the heavy cream with half-and-half or a plant-based cream.
Add sun-dried tomatoes or mushrooms for extra flavor and texture.
