Ingredients

Scale
  • 12 jumbo pasta shells
  • 1 cup cooked lobster meat, chopped
  • 1/2 cup ricotta cheese
  • 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 3 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped
  • 1 cup marinara sauce

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Cook the jumbo pasta shells according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  3. In a skillet over medium heat, melt the butter. Add the minced garlic and red pepper flakes, cooking for about 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
  4. In a mixing bowl, combine the cooked lobster meat, ricotta cheese, half of the mozzarella cheese, Parmesan cheese, salt, pepper, and half of the chopped parsley. Mix well.
  5. Stuff each cooked pasta shell with the lobster mixture and place them in a greased baking dish.
  6. Pour the marinara sauce evenly over the stuffed shells, then sprinkle the remaining mozzarella cheese on top.
  7. Cover the baking dish with aluminum foil and bake for 20 minutes. Remove the foil and bake for an additional 10 minutes, or until the cheese is bubbly and golden.
  8. Remove from the oven and let cool for a few minutes before serving. Garnish with the remaining parsley.

Notes

  • For a richer flavor, add a splash of white wine to the garlic butter before mixing in the lobster.
  • Substitute crab or shrimp for the lobster if desired, or use a mix of seafood for a delightful variation.
