- 4 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped
- 1 teaspoon lemon juice
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/4 teaspoon paprika
- 1/4 cup breadcrumbs (optional for topping)
- Lemon wedges, for serving
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- In a small bowl, combine the melted butter, minced garlic, parsley, lemon juice, salt, black pepper, and paprika. Mix well.
- Arrange the scallops in a single layer in a baking dish. Pour the garlic butter mixture evenly over the scallops.
- If using breadcrumbs, sprinkle them over the scallops for added texture.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes, or until the scallops are opaque and cooked through.
- Remove from the oven and let cool for a couple of minutes. Serve with lemon wedges on the side.
Notes
- For a spicy kick, add a pinch of red pepper flakes to the garlic butter mixture.
- Substitute the breadcrumbs with crushed crackers or panko for a different texture and flavor.
