Ingredients
Scale
1 pound boneless pork chops
2 tablespoons brown sugar
2 tablespoons olive oil
4 cloves garlic, minced
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
1 teaspoon paprika
1 tablespoon soy sauce
1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar
Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions
In a small bowl, mix together the brown sugar, minced garlic, salt, black pepper, paprika, soy sauce, and apple cider vinegar to create a marinade.
Place the pork chops in a resealable plastic bag or shallow dish and pour the marinade over them, ensuring they are well coated. Seal the bag or cover the dish and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes, or up to 2 hours for more flavor.
Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
Remove the pork chops from the marinade, allowing excess marinade to drip off. Discard the remaining marinade.
Add the pork chops to the skillet and cook for about 4-5 minutes on each side, or until they are golden brown and have an internal temperature of 145°F.
Remove the pork chops from the skillet and let them rest for 5 minutes before serving.
Garnish with chopped fresh parsley and serve warm.
Notes
For a spicy kick, add 1/4 teaspoon of red pepper flakes to the marinade.
Serve with a side of roasted vegetables or mashed potatoes for a complete meal.
