Scale
  • 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 cup brown sugar, packed
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 3 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 2 cups Fruity Pebbles cereal
  • 1 cup white chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large mixing bowl, cream together the softened butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy.
  3. Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
  4. Stir in the vanilla extract.
  5. In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt.
  6. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, mixing until just combined.
  7. Fold in the Fruity Pebbles and white chocolate chips until evenly distributed.
  8. Drop rounded tablespoons of dough onto ungreased baking sheets, spacing them about 2 inches apart.
  9. Bake for 10-12 minutes, or until the edges are lightly golden.
  10. Remove from the oven and let the cookies cool on the baking sheets for 5 minutes before transferring them to wire racks to cool completely.

Notes

  • These cookies can be stored in an airtight container for up to a week.
  • For a chewier cookie, slightly underbake them and let them cool on the baking sheet.
  • For a fun twist, try adding mini marshmallows or swapping out the white chocolate chips for milk chocolate chips.
  • You can also drizzle melted chocolate over the cooled cookies for an extra touch of sweetness.
