- 2 cups granulated sugar
- 4 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder

- 1 teaspoon instant coffee granules
- 1/2 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
- For the frosting:
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 2 cups powdered sugar
- 2 tablespoons brewed coffee (cooled)
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- Preheat the oven to 350°F and grease a 9×13-inch baking pan.
- In a large bowl, combine melted butter and granulated sugar, mixing until smooth.
- Add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition, then stir in vanilla extract.
- In another bowl, whisk together flour, cocoa powder, salt, and instant coffee granules.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, stirring until just combined.
- Fold in chocolate chips.
- Pour the batter into the prepared baking pan and spread evenly.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out with a few moist crumbs.
- Allow the brownies to cool completely in the pan.
- For the frosting, beat softened butter in a bowl until creamy.
- Gradually add powdered sugar, mixing until smooth.
