Ingredients
Scale
4 salmon fillets (6 ounces each)
1/4 cup unsalted butter
1/4 cup brown sugar
2 tablespoons honey
2 tablespoons Dijon mustard
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon onion powder
1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika
Salt and pepper to taste
Fresh lemon wedges for serving
Chopped fresh parsley for garnish (optional)
Instructions
Preheat your grill to medium-high heat.
In a small saucepan, melt the butter over low heat. Stir in the brown sugar, honey, Dijon mustard, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper. Cook for 2-3 minutes until the mixture is well combined and slightly thickened. Remove from heat.
Pat the salmon fillets dry with paper towels and season both sides with salt and pepper.
Place the salmon fillets skin-side down on a piece of aluminum foil. Brush the buttery sweet glaze generously over the top of each fillet.
Carefully transfer the foil with the salmon onto the preheated grill. Close the grill lid and cook for about 10-12 minutes, or until the salmon flakes easily with a fork.
During the last few minutes of cooking, brush additional glaze over the salmon for extra flavor.
Remove the salmon from the grill and let it rest for a few minutes. Serve with fresh lemon wedges and garnish with chopped parsley if desired.
Notes
For a smoky flavor, add a few wood chips to the grill while cooking the salmon.
Substitute maple syrup for honey for a different sweet flavor profile.
