Ingredients
Scale
2 pounds boneless, skinless chicken breasts
1/4 cup Dijon mustard
1/4 cup honey
2 tablespoons olive oil
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon onion powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
1 teaspoon dried thyme (optional)
Instructions
Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and lightly grease a baking dish with cooking spray or olive oil.
In a medium bowl, whisk together the Dijon mustard, honey, olive oil, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, black pepper, and dried thyme until well combined.
Place the chicken breasts in the prepared baking dish and pour the honey Dijon mixture over the top, ensuring each piece is well coated.
Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through and reaches an internal temperature of 165°F (74°C).
For a golden glaze, broil the chicken for an additional 2-3 minutes at the end of the baking time, keeping a close eye to prevent burning.
Remove from the oven and let the chicken rest for 5 minutes before slicing. Serve warm.
Notes
For added flavor, marinate the chicken in the honey Dijon mixture for 1-2 hours before baking.
You can substitute the chicken breasts with thighs for a juicier option or add vegetables like broccoli or carrots to the baking dish for a complete meal.
