- 2 pounds bone-in pork chops
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 can (10.5 ounces) cream of mushroom soup
- 1 cup chicken broth
- 1/2 cup sour cream
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon dried thyme
- 1 teaspoon dried rosemary
- 4 medium potatoes, diced
- 1 cup green beans (fresh or frozen)
- Chopped parsley for garnish (optional)
- Season the pork chops with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder on both sides.
- In a large bowl, mix together the cream of mushroom soup, chicken broth, sour cream, minced garlic, thyme, and rosemary until well combined.
- Place the diced potatoes in the bottom of the crockpot. Lay the seasoned pork chops on top of the potatoes.
- Pour the creamy mixture over the pork chops and potatoes, ensuring everything is well coated.
- Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours or on high for 3-4 hours, until the pork chops are tender and cooked through.
- About 30 minutes before serving, add the green beans to the crockpot and stir gently to combine.
- Once cooked, serve hot, garnished with chopped parsley if desired.
Notes
- For a richer flavor, consider adding a splash of white wine to the creamy mixture before cooking.
- You can also substitute the pork chops with chicken thighs for a different protein option.
