Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 pounds bone-in pork chops
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 can (10.5 ounces) cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon dried thyme
  • 1 teaspoon dried rosemary
  • 4 medium potatoes, diced
  • 1 cup green beans (fresh or frozen)
  • Chopped parsley for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Season the pork chops with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder on both sides.
  2. In a large bowl, mix together the cream of mushroom soup, chicken broth, sour cream, minced garlic, thyme, and rosemary until well combined.
  3. Place the diced potatoes in the bottom of the crockpot. Lay the seasoned pork chops on top of the potatoes.
  4. Pour the creamy mixture over the pork chops and potatoes, ensuring everything is well coated.
  5. Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours or on high for 3-4 hours, until the pork chops are tender and cooked through.
  6. About 30 minutes before serving, add the green beans to the crockpot and stir gently to combine.
  7. Once cooked, serve hot, garnished with chopped parsley if desired.

Notes

  • For a richer flavor, consider adding a splash of white wine to the creamy mixture before cooking.
  • You can also substitute the pork chops with chicken thighs for a different protein option.
