Creamy Cajun Pork Chops are a savory dish featuring tender pork chops coated in a rich and flavorful creamy sauce with a hint of Cajun spice.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 boneless pork chops (about 1 inch thick, 68 ounces each)
  • 1 tablespoon Cajun seasoning
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup chicken broth
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Chopped parsley for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Season both sides of the pork chops with Cajun seasoning, salt, and pepper.
  2. In a large skillet, heat the olive oil and butter over medium-high heat. Once hot, add the pork chops and sear for about 4-5 minutes on each side until golden brown and cooked through. Remove the pork chops from the skillet and set aside.
  3. In the same skillet, add the chicken broth, scraping up any browned bits from the bottom. Bring to a simmer.
  4. Stir in the heavy cream, garlic powder, and onion powder. Let the sauce simmer for about 3-4 minutes until it thickens slightly.
  5. Return the pork chops to the skillet, coating them in the creamy sauce. Cook for an additional 2 minutes to heat through.
  6. Serve the pork chops drizzled with the creamy sauce and garnish with chopped parsley if desired.

Notes

  • For a spicier kick, add a pinch of cayenne pepper to the Cajun seasoning.
  • Serve with a side of steamed vegetables or over rice to soak up the creamy sauce.
