Creamy Cajun Chicken Linguine with Garlic Mozzarella Sauce is a must-try dish that combines the rich flavors of Cajun seasoning with a creamy garlic mozzarella sauce, served over linguine pasta.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 8 ounces linguine pasta
  • 1 pound boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 2 tablespoons Cajun seasoning
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Cook the linguine pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  2. While the pasta is cooking, season the chicken breasts with Cajun seasoning, ensuring they are evenly coated.
  3. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat. Add the seasoned chicken breasts and cook for about 6-7 minutes on each side, or until cooked through and no longer pink in the center. Remove from the skillet and let rest for a few minutes before slicing.
  4. In the same skillet, add minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.
  5. Reduce the heat to medium and pour in the heavy cream, stirring to combine. Allow it to simmer for 2-3 minutes.
  6. Gradually add the mozzarella and Parmesan cheese, stirring continuously until melted and smooth. Season with salt and black pepper.
  7. Add the cooked linguine to the skillet, tossing to coat the pasta in the creamy sauce. Slice the chicken and place it on top of the pasta.
  8. Garnish with chopped parsley before serving.

Notes

  • For added spice, include a pinch of red pepper flakes when cooking the garlic.
  • Substitute shrimp or sausage for the chicken for a different protein option.
