A delicious and hearty Chicken Bacon Ranch Pasta Stack that combines tender pasta, shredded chicken, crispy bacon, and creamy ranch dressing, topped with melted cheese.

  • 8 ounces penne pasta
  • 2 cups cooked chicken, shredded
  • 6 slices bacon, cooked and crumbled
  • 1 cup ranch dressing
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup green onions, chopped
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Cook the penne pasta according to package directions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  3. In a large mixing bowl, combine the cooked chicken, crumbled bacon, ranch dressing, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Mix well.
  4. Add the cooked penne pasta to the chicken mixture and stir until evenly coated.
  5. In a greased 9×13 inch baking dish, layer half of the pasta mixture. Sprinkle half of the cheddar and mozzarella cheeses over the top.
  6. Add the remaining pasta mixture on top and finish with the remaining cheese.
  7. Cover the baking dish with aluminum foil and bake for 20 minutes. Remove the foil and bake for an additional 10 minutes, or until the cheese is bubbly and golden.
  8. Remove from the oven and let it cool for 5 minutes. Garnish with chopped green onions before serving.

Notes

  • For a healthier option, substitute whole wheat pasta and use turkey bacon instead of regular bacon.
  • Add vegetables such as spinach, bell peppers, or broccoli for extra nutrition and flavor.
