Ingredients
Scale
2 cups cooked spaghetti
1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
1/4 cup marinara sauce
4 slices of bread (white, whole wheat, or sourdough)
2 tablespoons butter
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1/2 teaspoon Italian seasoning
Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
In a large bowl, combine the cooked spaghetti, mozzarella cheese, Parmesan cheese, marinara sauce, garlic powder, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Mix until well combined.
Heat a skillet over medium heat and add 1 tablespoon of butter, allowing it to melt and coat the pan.
Take two slices of bread and evenly spread half of the spaghetti mixture on each slice. Top with the remaining two slices of bread to create two sandwiches.
Place the sandwiches in the skillet and cook for about 3-4 minutes on each side, or until golden brown and the cheese is melted. Add the remaining butter to the skillet if needed.
Once cooked, remove the sandwiches from the skillet and let them cool for a minute before slicing in half. Serve with extra marinara sauce for dipping.
Notes
For a spicy kick, add crushed red pepper flakes to the spaghetti mixture.
Try using different types of cheese, such as cheddar or pepper jack, for a unique flavor twist.
