Ingredients
Scale
1 pound ground beef
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon onion powder
1 teaspoon smoked paprika
Salt and pepper to taste
2 cups frozen French fries
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
4 large flour tortillas
1 cup sour cream
1/2 cup diced green onions (optional)
1/2 cup diced tomatoes (optional)
Instructions
In a large skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef until browned, breaking it apart with a spatula. Drain excess fat if necessary.
Stir in garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper. Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes until the spices are fragrant. Remove from heat.
Prepare the French fries according to package instructions until crispy.
Once the fries are cooked, mix them with the seasoned ground beef in the skillet. Stir in the shredded cheddar cheese until melted and well combined.
Lay out the flour tortillas on a clean surface. Spoon an equal amount of the beef and fries mixture onto the center of each tortilla.
Add a dollop of sour cream and sprinkle with diced green onions and tomatoes if desired.
Fold in the sides of the tortilla and roll it up tightly from the bottom to the top.
Optional: Heat a non-stick skillet over medium heat and place the wraps seam-side down. Cook for 2-3 minutes on each side until golden brown and crispy.
Slice in half and serve immediately.
Notes
For a spicier kick, add diced jalapeños or hot sauce to the beef mixture.
Substitute ground turkey or chicken for a leaner option, and use sweet potato fries for a healthier twist.
