Ingredients
Scale
1 pound ground beef
1 tablespoon olive oil
1 medium onion, diced
1 medium green bell pepper, diced
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
1 teaspoon paprika
1 cup beef broth
1 cup elbow macaroni
1 cup shredded provolone cheese
1/2 cup milk
1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
Instructions
In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the diced onion and green bell pepper, cooking until softened, about 5 minutes.
Stir in the minced garlic, salt, black pepper, and paprika, cooking for an additional minute until fragrant.
Add the ground beef to the skillet, breaking it apart with a spatula. Cook until browned, about 6-8 minutes.
Pour in the beef broth and Worcestershire sauce, then stir in the elbow macaroni. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat to low, cover, and simmer for 10-12 minutes or until the pasta is tender.
Once the pasta is cooked, stir in the milk and shredded provolone cheese until melted and creamy. Adjust seasoning if necessary.
Serve hot, garnished with additional cheese if desired.
Notes
For a spicier version, add diced jalapeños or a dash of hot sauce to the mixture.
Substitute ground turkey or chicken for a leaner option, and use low-fat cheese to reduce calories.
