Ingredients
Scale
1 pound ground beef
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon onion powder
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
1 cup diced onion
1 cup diced pickles
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
1 (30-ounce) bag frozen French fries
1/2 cup ketchup
1/4 cup mustard
1/4 cup mayonnaise
1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
Optional: sliced tomatoes and lettuce for garnish
Instructions
Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
In a large skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef until browned, breaking it apart with a spatula. Drain excess fat.
Add garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper to the beef. Stir in the diced onion and cook for an additional 3-4 minutes until the onion is softened.
In a large baking dish, spread the frozen French fries evenly across the bottom.
Layer the cooked beef mixture over the French fries, followed by the diced pickles and shredded cheddar cheese.
In a small bowl, mix together the ketchup, mustard, mayonnaise, and Worcestershire sauce. Drizzle this sauce evenly over the top of the cheese.
Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the fries are crispy and the cheese is melted and bubbly.
Remove from the oven and let cool for a few minutes. Garnish with sliced tomatoes and lettuce if desired before serving.
Notes
For a spicier kick, add diced jalapeños or a sprinkle of red pepper flakes to the beef mixture.
Substitute ground turkey or chicken for a leaner option, and use sweet potato fries for a healthier twist.
