Ingredients
Scale
1 pound beef sirloin, thinly sliced
2 tablespoons vegetable oil
1 bell pepper, sliced (any color)
1 cup broccoli florets
1 cup snap peas
3 green onions, chopped
3 cloves garlic, minced
1 tablespoon fresh ginger, minced
1/4 cup honey
1/4 cup soy sauce
1 tablespoon black pepper
1 tablespoon cornstarch
1/4 cup water
Instructions
In a small bowl, whisk together honey, soy sauce, black pepper, cornstarch, and water until smooth. Set aside.
In a large skillet or wok, heat vegetable oil over medium-high heat.
Add the sliced beef and cook for about 3-4 minutes until browned. Remove the beef from the skillet and set aside.
In the same skillet, add bell pepper, broccoli, snap peas, green onions, garlic, and ginger. Stir-fry for about 3-5 minutes until the vegetables are tender-crisp.
Return the beef to the skillet and pour the sauce over the mixture. Stir well to combine and cook for an additional 2-3 minutes until the sauce thickens and everything is heated through.
Serve immediately over cooked rice or noodles.
Notes
For a spicier kick, add red pepper flakes or sliced jalapeños to the stir-fry.
You can substitute the beef with chicken, shrimp, or tofu for a different protein option.
