Ingredients
Scale
8 ounces rice noodles
1 tablespoon vegetable oil
8 ounces beef sirloin, thinly sliced
8 ounces shrimp, peeled and deveined
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 bell pepper, sliced
1 cup snap peas
3 green onions, chopped
1/4 cup soy sauce
2 tablespoons oyster sauce
1 tablespoon sesame oil
1 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)
Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
Cook the rice noodles according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
In a large skillet or wok, heat the vegetable oil over medium-high heat.
Add the sliced beef to the skillet and cook for about 3-4 minutes until browned. Remove the beef from the skillet and set aside.
In the same skillet, add the shrimp and cook for 2-3 minutes until they turn pink. Remove and set aside with the beef.
Add the minced garlic, bell pepper, and snap peas to the skillet. Stir-fry for about 2-3 minutes until the vegetables are tender-crisp.
Return the beef and shrimp to the skillet. Add the cooked rice noodles, soy sauce, oyster sauce, sesame oil, and red pepper flakes (if using). Toss everything together and cook for another 2-3 minutes until heated through.
Season with salt and pepper to taste. Garnish with chopped green onions before serving.
Notes
For a vegetarian version, substitute the beef and shrimp with tofu and add more vegetables like broccoli or carrots.
Experiment with different sauces such as teriyaki or hoisin for a unique flavor twist.
