Ingredients
Scale
1 pound beef sirloin, thinly sliced
8 ounces lo mein noodles
2 tablespoons vegetable oil
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 cup bell pepper, sliced
1 cup broccoli florets
1 cup snap peas
3 green onions, chopped
1/4 cup soy sauce
2 tablespoons oyster sauce
1 tablespoon sesame oil
1 teaspoon cornstarch mixed with 2 tablespoons water
Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
Cook the lo mein noodles according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
In a large skillet or wok, heat the vegetable oil over medium-high heat. Add the sliced beef and cook until browned, about 3-4 minutes. Remove the beef from the skillet and set aside.
In the same skillet, add the minced garlic and cook for about 30 seconds until fragrant. Add the bell pepper, broccoli, and snap peas. Stir-fry for 3-5 minutes until the vegetables are tender-crisp.
Return the beef to the skillet. Add the cooked lo mein noodles, soy sauce, oyster sauce, sesame oil, and the cornstarch mixture. Toss everything together and cook for an additional 2-3 minutes until heated through and well combined. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
Remove from heat and stir in the chopped green onions. Serve hot.
Notes
For a spicier version, add red pepper flakes or sriracha sauce to the stir-fry.
Substitute beef with chicken, shrimp, or tofu for a different protein option.
