Discover the secret to perfectly tender BBQ pork ribs with this easy recipe that guarantees flavor and tenderness.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 racks of pork baby back ribs (about 4 pounds total)
  • 1 tablespoon paprika
  • 1 tablespoon brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon garlic powder
  • 1 tablespoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon cayenne pepper (optional for heat)
  • 1 cup BBQ sauce (your favorite brand)
  • 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce

Instructions

  1. Remove the membrane from the back of the ribs for better flavor and tenderness. Use a paper towel to grip it and pull it off.
  2. In a small bowl, mix together paprika, brown sugar, garlic powder, onion powder, black pepper, salt, and cayenne pepper (if using).
  3. Rub the spice mixture evenly over both sides of the ribs.
  4. Place the ribs on a large baking sheet lined with aluminum foil. Cover the ribs tightly with another piece of foil.
  5. Bake in the preheated oven for 2.5 to 3 hours, until the ribs are tender.
  6. In a small bowl, combine BBQ sauce, apple cider vinegar, and Worcestershire sauce.
  7. After baking, remove the ribs from the oven and discard the top layer of foil. Brush the BBQ sauce mixture generously over the ribs.
  8. Preheat your grill to medium-high heat. Transfer the ribs to the grill and cook for an additional 10-15 minutes, turning occasionally and basting with more BBQ sauce, until caramelized and slightly charred.
  9. Remove from the grill, let rest for 5 minutes, then slice between the bones and serve.

Notes

  • For a smoky flavor, consider adding a few drops of liquid smoke to the BBQ sauce.
  • You can experiment with different types of BBQ sauce, such as honey mustard or spicy chipotle, to customize the taste.
  • If you prefer a quicker method, you can cook the ribs in a slow cooker on low for 6-8 hours before finishing them on the grill.
